Southeast Asia’s largest museum of its type, with artefacts numbering over ten thousand, the aim of the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia is to truly represent the breadth of the Islamic world, showcasing works not only from Islam’s Persian and Middle Eastern heartlands, but from across the globe, with an emphasis on those of the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia and the Far East.
